Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have the necessary skills to undertake Anatomy teaching and will be responsible primarily for demonstrating gross anatomy, living anatomy and neuroanatomy to students of medicine, biological sciences and allied health sciences. This research project is one of a number of projects at this institution. It is in competition for funding with one or more of these projects. Usually the project which receives the best applicant will be awarded the funding.
Applications for this project are welcome from suitably qualified candidates worldwide. Funding may only be available to a limited set of nationalities and you should read the full department and project details for further information.
Funding: The studentship will cover the cost of tuition fees (£3,950 - UK/EU rate for 2013-14) and a maintenance grant (£14,590 for 2013-14) in return for which the student will be required to do 120-150 hours anatomy demonstrating per year. International Applicants are eligible to apply but will be required to demonstrate how they intend meet the shortfall in tuition fees. Applicants must have experience of studying or teaching human gross anatomy.
Eligibility: You should hold a strong degree (equivalent to at least a UK upper second class honours degree) in a relevant discipline such as anatomy, medical sciences, medicine or a health science and should also have experience of studying or teaching human gross anatomy.
