About the Role
This Technical Product Manager will support the product manager business owner(s) of McAfee’s Global Threat Intelligence Cloud Computing Initiatives, and by extension support the related Product Markteing Managers. Those initiatives include existing technologies such as Artemis, Trusted Source, SiteAdvisor.

The role will entail owning the functional competitive analysis, and writing requirements for technical competitive analysis to be performed by others in Research and/or Engineering. Owning competitive analysis includes establishing, and maintaining a portfolio of competitors’ functionality, based upon published capabilities, as well as more informal channels of information. Is responsible for contributing to the criteria of what will be analyzed, and for creating and keeping up to date a gap analysis against current and future McAfee capabilities.
Responsibilities will also include review of requirements docs, focusing upon features, ensuing those features and capabilities are prioritized against the competition, and the needs of the field.
This role may additionally play a role as liaison to the McAfee technical field in the APAC geo, focusing on Sales Engineers and Support Account Managers, providing both communication of capability and direction to the field, as well as capture of issues and requirements from the field.

Primary Responsibilities

The candidate shall have the following experience:
1. Evidence of strong written email, document and powerpoint skills.
2. Proven experience in performing competitive analysis in the software industry.
3. Working knowedge of the software security space – must have an understanding of AV, HIPS, IPS.
4. Experience with working for a software company responsible for delivering cloud computing functionality to at least one market segment (ex Small and Medium Businesses). Cross-segment experience a plus.
5. Evidence of successful ‘long distance communications’ with a US based, or US centric organization.

About the Role
1. Design and implement new features at both the kernel and user mode levels.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Analyze, debug and root cause driver level issues and implement solutions.
2. Develop unit tests and work with QA to develop test plans to validate the new features, enhancements and/or fixes.
3. Maintain code base of current shipping products.
4. Work closely with our support organization as well as external customers to address field escalation as part of the bug reproduction process.

About the Role

We provide financial and operational reports to different decision making teams at McAfee. This process involves new features and enhancements to reporting system (SAP BW, Hyperion, and Analytics) which we use to produce the report. Enhancement to reporting systems and also creation of new adhoc reports would ask for co-ordination between different reporting system owners for data transfer from one system to other system, data reconciliation, understand the reporting requirement to help us work on reporting system enhancement. We are looking for a person who can work independently on smooth integration of different reporting systems.
