Remembrance
Shreekant Sadokpam *
Siblings at quarrel,
Blood in the barrel,
Drenched in mother's tears,
People breathed fear,
For end was near,
So near.
And so came the end of the years of glory,
Because of our folly.
We remember, yet still divided.
Brothers are still divided.
Moving deeper into darkness,
Many are becoming mindless.
But brothers and sisters do quarrel, but still no hatred,
And Mother shall call, and all shall answer
