Released Rs 100 cr to Manipur till Aug: Singh

Following clamour for funds, Manipur has been released an amount of over Rs 100 crore by DoNER Ministry in the first five months of the current financial year for development projects, Union Minister of State for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) Dr Jitendra Singh has disclosed.
He said that an amount of Rs 28.47 crore was released for different projects under NLCPR (Non-Lapsable Central Pool of Resources) and about Rs 75 crore was released for North Eastern Council (NEC) projects. This is in addition to the various other funding and budget releases coming to the State from other Union Ministries, he added.
