Recognition of the Enemy God will use to promote you

Jesus always had enemies. Scriptures reveal this in His own Words. Jesus recognized His enemies “Why are you trying to kill me?” John 7:19. Any uncommon achiever must recognize an adversary.
The common resent the uncommon
The impure despise the pure
The unholy hate the Holy
The lazy despise the diligent
You will always have an enemy. Jesus knew it (Mt. 10:22).
Your enemy is anyone who attempts to sabotage the assignment God has for your life.
Your enemy is anyone unhappy over your progress. Nehemiah faced this. Ezra faced this (Ezra 4:5).
Your enemy is anyone who increases or strengthens a personal weakness God is attempting to remove from your life. Delilah breathed life into the weakness of Samson. She was his enemy (Judges 16).
Your enemy is anyone that attempts to kill the faith that God is birthing within you.
God may be birthing your ministry, your vision may be exploding. Your enemy is any person who makes any attempt to abort the emergence of that dream, calling or assignment.
Your enemy is anyone who would rather discuss your past than your future. Yesterday is over. “Do not cling to the events of the past or dwell on what happened …” (Isaiah 43:18-19).
When Jesus stood at the scene of the woman caught in adultery, revelation exploded. Men were present, obsessed with her mistake, ready to stone her. But Jesus was looking at her future. With one single stroke of mercy, He removed the past. “I do not condemn you either. Go, but do not sin again” (John 8:11).
Your enemy is anyone who weakens your passion for your future and your dream. Then the 10 spies were used by the enemy to weaken the resolve of Moses to enter Canaan.
Your enemies should not be feared. “And fear not them which kill the body …” (Mt. 10:28). God will fight for you against your enemies. “For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory” (Deut. 20:4).
Your enemies will not be allowed by God to win.
* The Lord is on my side, I will not fear what man can do unto me? (Ps.118:6)
* We cannot defeat the enemy in our own strength (2 Cor.3:5,6)
* God expects you to prepare your defense against your enemy (Eph. 6:11-12)
* Overcoming your enemy is the key to your rewards (Rev. 3:5,12)
* The greatest weapon against your enemy is the word of God (Eph.6:17)
* You must enter every battle against your enemy for the purpose of bringing glory to God (I Sam. 17:45-47)
* You should expect to win every battle against your enemy (I Sam. 17:46)
* your enemy will be opposed by God even when you feel unable to defend yourself (2 Chronicles 20:15,17)
* The Holy Spirit will demoralize and weaken your enemy with fear towards you before the battle even begins (Joshua 2:9,11)
* your enemy is often ignorant of your past victories which makes (the enemy) vulnerable and unprepared for you.
Goliath was ignorant of David’s fight with the lion and the bear. The Pharisees knew nothing of the power of Jesus. Your enemy is not ready for you.
* Your Holy Spirit within you is more powerful than any enemy that you will ever face. “Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world (I John 4:4)
* The enemy cannot withstand the weapon of praise during times of battle (Psalm 34:1)
* Your enemy will attack you at the birth of any significant season in your life (Mt. 4; Lk.4)
* Jesus instructed His disciples to sow seeds of love, prayer and Acts of kindness into their enemy (Mt. 5:44)
* Loving your enemies will create a great reward (Lk.6:35)
* Your enemy exposes your weaknesses. Awareness of your weakness births humility. Humility is the magnet that attracts God and angels
* Your enemy today could possibly become your ally tomorrow (Acts 9:13,15). It happened when the tormentor of the early church Saul became the mentor of the early church.
* Your enemy can experience a sudden change of heart (Acts 9:6)
* Your enemy is a door, not a wall to your next season. It happened for Esther. It happened for Daniel, Job. The Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before (Job 42:10)
* The only true difference between a nobody and somebody is the enemy they decided to conquer. David went from a nobody to a somebody through Goliath (1 Samuel 18:6-7)
Your enemy is the difference between obscurity and significance. Heavy weight champions have gone from unknown to world champion in a single fight. When Evander Holyfield sees Mike Tyson walk through the door, he doesn’t grab his ear! He grabs his checkbook. No friend of Evander Holyfield has ever given $22 million … It took an enemy! It happened to David (1 Samuel 18:6,7).
The size of your enemy will determine the size of your rewards (1 Samuel 17:4-7,25).
