Rage of Pain
Mayanglambam Sanahal *
Fending off senses to the mere tricks of your mind
You never confide what you really hold within
Running a deeper insecurity in your veins
Just put yourself in the mirror of your mind
You'll drool in the immediate envy of your own reflection.
That way the light shall kiss my perpetual darkness away
And I shall be ever released
From this ever bothering spell of fear and pain
Your reign is when I grow seeds of
Anger and bitter tears upon the enemy
Weaving an uncertainty of fate around their lives.
Here comes destiny heavily armed to set us free
And you can't always be in vain
Where helplessness is your only defence
Let me plead to all the mighty ears
For a beg to tremble
In the strange feelings you wrap in your flesh.
Warning voices are reaching out for you
The scream you hear is my blunt cry
And before a rundown in hope
Seek to dare your limits
And deny the fact you're alone
Stab dead your weaknesses.
That way the light shall drive my perpetual darkness away
So black a place you leave me for so long
I'm your broken dream, realising my worth
Now, from the lap of darkness rises the rage of pain.
