Abstract
A class of mixture components known as deep eutectic solvents (DESs), has been considered as an active area of study because of their novel properties related to lowering of melting temperature during reaction. Temperature dependent dielectric relaxation measurements in certain frequency window, have been studied for both ionic and non-ionic DESs.
Interesting results of multi-Debye relaxation time constants ranging from nanoseconds to picoseconds, have been detected. Molecular dynamic simulation also supports the experimental finding. The field is fast emerging as media for large scale industrial and technological applications.
