Protest for Richard Loitam at Town Hall, Bangalore

Justice for Loitam Richard : Demonstration at Bangalore :: 29 April 2012
The Forensic Science lab report for Richard Loitam had come on Wednesday, 17 May from Victoria Hospital, Bangalore. It concluded that the CAUSE OF DEATH IS UNDETERMINED.
So we have decided to appeal to the Govt. of Karnataka to refer to a reputed central forensic science lab which can provide a conclusive report.
Additionally, we have also decided to pressurize the Govt. to hand over the case to a central investigating agency and not to close the case. To keep the momentum going we have faxed a formal request to the honorable CM, Karnataka for an appointment.
We appreciate honorable Dr. Nara, State Secretary, CPI, Manipur for his involvement in arranging for the appointment so far. We have also met a senior police official from Mizoram for his opinions and suggestions.
As students’ and civil organizations, to reach out our message from another perspective we are organizing a protest at Town Hall, Bangalore on Sunday, 20 May between 4 pm and 6 pm.
We request all to mobilize this agitation and be a part of it. We also request other organizations in different parts of India also to organize such event. Sorry for short notice.
We thought it might be too late to wait for next week.
