According to the law of corruption every organized State that gets involved in it, the decline of society values and development is bound to be slowed a hundred times. It has crept into the system of important leaders and common folks in the last 10 tumultuous years and has entrapped Manipur disguise as Goddess of Riches.

There are no students to be taught yet the government of Manipur ingeniously feels more teacher's need to be recruited to fulfill education for all policy of GOI. I appreciate the implementation of Education Policy by GOM which certainly will make the Ministers and money smiling officers richer by few crores.

In the last recruitment drive for the Undergraduate teacher's one of the Minister's Village according to rumours which definitely could be true a total of 70 folks got selected - which means a monthly revenue of roughly 11 lakhs.

Bless be the man, may his tribe increase!

Hundred grumbling folks complaint they were denied the job though they invested 3 lakh or even more. Be happy folks for the Wise man says : To partake in corruptive meal is the core of corruption and destroys your inner goodness.

Well, intelligent folks have always found a way to overcome an obstacle no matter the density of the problem. Would it not be great if a young soul if denied the post base on merit without bribing file a law-suit in a court of Law.

Times have changed and am sure hundreds would be there to defend and support till justice is done. For want of a job which denies satisfaction and guarantees unhappiness many folks have diverted much energy and happiness either to drinks or self pity.

I have began to suspect if collective laziness somehow is embedded in our genes. From the southernmost part of Manipur to the Northernmost, corruption is institutionalize thereby giving it absolute freedom where honesty and sincerity means stay down the ladder.

Christianity never taught Corruption, Hinduism denounce it. Why then a state filled with Halliluah Church goers and Valley folks where temple dwells in the courtyard of every house embrace it. Honestly, I have rarely seen a corrupt official irrespective of geographical location not smiling when money appears.

I do not intend to leave out the common folks espicially in the valley and district HQs whose greed and lack of spirituality and personal harmony manifest when you linger for more than you desire to. How much is the asking price of GRADUATE TEACHER post this time?

Mediators, Middleman and Money Lenders will make a good killing again.

'No service be it legal or illegal comes for free.' District Congress leaders, small time politicians and other self style elements might have already fix an appointment with respective Constituency MLAs. Not to forget the Officers whose hands smell and taste of bribe money.

This time it could qualify for Ripley's Believe it or not" The base rate am sure starts somewhere at 3.5 lakhs. Some folks hungry for job with fat pockets or influential relatives wanting status will end up paying 4 lakhs or more.

I have learnt never to trust the efficiency and capability of Manipur government officials. Reason is obvious, almost all got the job through corruption. Some are capable but how do you trust an MCS official who really qualifies but paid bribes to get the through.

When an MCS officer bribes to get through be sure that man will try to make up for the lost in a years time. Most, I am sure, have recovered from taking a cut of NREGS.

There are numerous funds and sources but the famous one for now is NREGS so i am mentioning it.

Blood Diamond existed elsewhere. Blood money exist in Manipur. The land where the government employed folks have no work but get paid.
