Peace accord has nothing to do with us: GPRN/NSCN
Nagaland Post | Tinakali Sumi | Dimapur, Aug 4 (NPN)
A day after government of India and NSCN (I-M) signed the ‘Naga Peace Accord’, one of the major Naga Political Groups (NPGs), based in Nagaland, GPRN/NSCN has said “it has nothing to do with us as it (Peace Accord) is for Muivah”.
In an exclusive interview with Nagaland Post, Tuesday at Khehoi designated camp, GPRN/NSCN envoy to collective leadership, Alezo Venuh and advisor to collective leadership, C. Singson maintained that the group has no problem with “Naga Peace Accord” if the agreement was “good for Mr. Muviah and Southern Nagas”.
They pointed out that GPRN/NSCN and its collective leaders, on many occasions, have always supported “any kind of solution or settlement for our people out there in Manipur”. Alezo claimed that NSCN (I-M) ato kilonsr Th. Muviah in “several occasions” has ruled out integration and during one of the meetings has made it clear that he was seeking “a solution for Southern Nagas”.
