Don Bosco College, Maram, Senapati District, Manipur organised a silent candlelit procession on 20th February 2019 extending solidarity with the aggrieved families of Pulwama terror attack victims of 14th February 2019. The terror attack is described as the worst of its kind in the past two decades, taking the lives of 40 CRPF personnel.
The procession was jointly organised by the Legal Literacy Club and Peace Club of the College. Teachers along with student community took part in the candle lit procession. Extending condolence, the Principal, DBC, Maram, Rev. Fr, Dr. K.O. Sebastian, SDB expressed his condemnation of such dastardly act of terror.
He stressed how the act has sent gloom and despair across the nation, including the college. Many of the siblings of our students as well as past pupils have been recruited in the armed forces to serve the nation while many aspire to join in the near future.

Leading the procession, he emphasised the commitment of the college to pay homage to the bereaved and prayed for the eternal peace for the martyrs’ departed souls.
The teaching and non-teaching staff along with students of DBC Maram, collectively condoled and pledged to stand united with the nation. The principal thanked the Peace club and Legal literacy club for their initiative to express solidarity with the armed forces.
