Paper Ship Builder
Rajkumar Panthoiren *
When I turns to You
When meaning is what I seek
And words, they just fall like pieces
Of Glass…
On a floor made of flesh
Thought I, the rain drops knew me
And You, you feel me!
Sang a song and made a paper ship of dreams
Hoping You would sail on the ocean yet to be seen
On that paper ship I made
A ship of promises…
Moments, thoughts and the beats
that never ceased
Thought I, I would cry a bit (did I?), let it flow
Make you see what you can't.
But you will smile.
I'm just a foolish paper ship builder
Who said 'Yes'
To somebody's 'Please'
That thing so strange!!
