The United Naga Council (UNC) and the All Naga Students Association, Manipur, have decided to go ahead with their three-day bandh in Naga areas from midnight tonight, despite appeals by Union home minister P. Chidambaram and chief minister Okram Ibobi Singh to resolve all issues through dialogue.
“We will go ahead with the three-day total bandh and continue with the ongoing economic blockade on national highways in Manipur,” a leader of the UNC told this correspondent.
