Position: Project Open Source Software (POSS) Coordinator.
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 4-6 years in the area of Product Development & Coordination.
Qualification: Bachelor in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science or Telecommunication)
Tasks:-
To ensure compliance of Robert Bosch Car Multimedia GmbH (RBCM), open Source Software (OSS) Policy in the scope of a CM project.
Co-ordinates all OSS activities in the scope of CM project.
Would be the central point of contact for all project related issues and questions regarding OSS. v
Review software architecture and design of a project w.r.t OSS usage
Review OSS components (license terms and obligations) and approval of the same to be used in software development
Educate development team on proper usage of OSS components in Software development
Responsible for scheduling and ensure OSS scan of project.
Coordinate with development and Legal teams to analyze the OSS scan reports.
Report status of OSS activities to RBCM OSS officer and RBEI OSS Project Manager
May involve interaction with external software vendors for compliance to OSS usage in Software development
Requirements:
Experienced in software development and design Knowledge of software architecture
Experience in Open Source Software would be an added advantage
Good co-ordination and presentation skills
Willingness to travel for short and long terms to Germany
