Oath-taking Ceremony of Thadou Students' Association, Hyderabad

The first Oath-taking Ceremony of the new Office Bearers of the Thadou Students' Association, Hyderabad (TSA-H) was, as organised, successfully held today, the 6th of June 2015, at RBI CC Hall, Begumpat in Hyderabad.
The ceremony was coordinated by Miss Chong Gollut Kipgen and moderated by Pu Kampu Lhouvum with an invocation delivered by Pu P Noble Singson.
Oath-taking of the newly elected Office Bearers was administered by Pu James Haokip, Gen Secy, TSA GHQ, who travelled to Hyderabad from Imphal for the purpose. Those who took the oath at the ceremony are George Haokip (President) Seiminlen Haokip (General Secy) Sehmang Kipgen (Information and Publicity Secy), Kamkholal Haokip (Finance Secy), Lunminthang Haokip (Games & Sports Secy), Chingngaimoi Lhouvum (Education and Stats.), Nengneivah Hangsing (Treasurer), Lunminlen Haokip (Social & Culture Secy), Tinneikim Haokip (Asst Secy, Social & Culture), Lunboi Baite (Vice Chairman, Thadou Welfare Committee), Chongngaikim Kipgen (Vice President & Thadou Welfare Chairperson) and Nemneikim Haokip (Asst Secy Edu & Stats).
Pu Paulianthang Guite said a blessing prayer followed by a welcome message from George Haokip, President, TSA (H) and a keynote address by Seiminlen Haokip, Gen Secy, TSA (H).
The audience also heard exhortation speeches from invited guests including Pu Michael Haokip, President, TSA, Bengaluru and followed by Word of Thanks from the association's V/President Chongngaikim Kipgen.
Following a closing prayer by Ms. Hevah Haokip, the ceremony concluded with a light refreshment by all the attendants of the ceremony.
We extend our appreciation and gratitude for the support and wishes from community members and well wishers of TSA from various places within the country and abroad, particularly the Thadou communities in Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, USA, United Kingdom etc.
Even as we pledge to work with the community with an aim of delivering the best for the welfare of Thadou tribal community, especially of Thadou students, individuals and families residing in and around Hyderabed, we seek continued community support and cooperation from other communities and their student associations.
