MAMI ARTISTES ASSOCIATION'S 'NONGMADI'
SUMMARY:
In today's world, humanity has seemed to lose its value. The love and bonding between parents, and siblings has also started to cease in the existing society and people took their own as strangers.
For this reason, various unwanted incidents happened in our society.
Why do aged parents wanted to leave their own house?
Is it a sign of development to see increasing numbers of old age homes in our society?
The story of the play revolves around the family of Kunjo.
The two sons of Kunjo, Achouba and Tondonba and their wives, Tharik and Sakhi avoided and did not want to look after aged Kunjo and his bed-ridden wife i.e their mother.
The theme of the play thrives to search for a little bit of comfort and love and tried to evoke sympathy to the viewers within the changing behaviour and high level of lifestyle of the children.
