No divulging Naga framework pact, says Rijiju
Assam Tribune | New Delhi, March 3
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju has said that the Framework Agreement signed between the government and the NSCN-IM in August 2015 is a “confidence-building step” that has helped take the talks forward and expressed the hope of reaching a settlement soon to the Naga issue.
“The Framework Agreement with the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Issac-Muivah) is a kind of confidence-building step on the basis of which talk will progress. So the final talks, which are going on, will conclude once all issues are hammered out. I think it shouldn’t take much time,” Rijiju told India Today news channel.
