Nehginpao Kipgen to speak at ICS, IDSA and JNU in India

Nehginpao Kipgen, a political scientist and a specialist on Burma/Myanmar, will be speaking at different institutions in New Delhi, India in the month of May 2015.
On May 6, Dr. Kipgen will be speaking at the Institute of Chinese Studies, Delhi (ICS), a research institute funded by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, on a topic ‘Myanmar-China Relations: A Strategy of Mutual Interest?’
On May 7, Kipgen will be speaking at the Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses (IDSA), New Delhi, a think tank for advanced research in international relations funded by the Ministry of Defense, Government of India, on a topic ‘Ethnic Nationalities and the Peace Process in Myanmar’.
On May 9, Kipgen will be speaking at an interactive session organized by the Kuki Students’ Organization, Delhi (KSOD) in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
Dr. Kipgen will also be speaking on a topic ‘Democratic Transition in the Context of India-Myanmar Relations’ at a talk organized by Dr. L. Lam Khan Piang, a faculty at the Centre for the Study of Social Systems, JNU on May 14.
After engaging in different events, Dr. Kipgen will be leaving for the United States of America on May 16.
