NSCN (K) justifies opening 'sub-office'; GPRN/NSCN opposes NSCN (K)'s move

Claiming that the NSCN (K) had obtained clearance for opening its sub-office in Dimapur, supervisor CFSB Wangtin Naga Tuesday said that district administration, police, security force, NSCN (K), state government representatives and CFSB representatives had conducted joint verification at Purana bazaar and Padumpukhuri-Naharbari areas for the purpose.
NSCN (K) MIP asserted that NSCN(K) has withstood numerous challenges over decades of political turmoil while pursuing political solution to “Indo-Naga-Burma political conflict” MIP Tuesday maintained it has been ever consistent in according “highest respect” to every legitimate revolutionary struggle encountered.
On the “apprehensions expressed by certain groups” against establishment of its CFSB sub-office in Dimapur, the NSCN (K) assured that it was “firmly committed” to promote as well as “expedite peace and political process between the NSCN and government of India and among the Nagas.”
