NSCN-KK calls for cultural unity
- Khole, Kitovi reject political integration
The Telegraph | Nishit Dholabhai | New Delhi, Aug. 22:
The NSCN (Khole-Kitovi), a rival group of the NSCN (Isak-Muivah), has rejected "Nagalim" as espoused by the NSCN (I-M) and championed the concept of "cultural integration of the Nagas". Projecting itself as the group that would speak up for Nagas of Nagaland, the NSCN (K-K) dared both the NSCN (I-M) and the Centre, saying it would not accept "imposition" of any peace pact on the Nagas of Nagaland and "rehabilitation of Nagas from other states into Nagaland".
The group said Nagas of Nagaland, be it land or people, cannot be asked to make a sacrifice to fulfil the political aspirations and desires of Nagas living in the states of Manipur, Assam or Arunachal Pradesh
