NPF serves notice on Rio for 'anti-party activities'

In a move that might have serious political implications in Nagaland, the ruling Naga People's Front (NPF) has served a showcause notice to Lok Sabha MP and former chief minister Neiphiu Rio.
NPF's Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) has concluded in its findings that Rio had indulged in anti-party activities and asked him why disciplinary action should not be initiated against him. Rio has been given 15 days to reply to the showcause notice, which was served on April 13
