NPF confident of winning many seats in Manipur assembly polls

Nagaland minister for land resources development (LRD) and soil and water conservation P Longon said NPF is certain to win a good number of seats and optimistic about being the to deciding factor in formation of the next government in Manipur.
Addressing a mammoth gathering at 27th sports meet, organized by the Maram Khullen Circle Youth and Students' Association, at Maram on Saturday as the chief guest, the minister said, "NPF will not be cowed down and contest the election in as many seats we can in the Naga-inhabited areas" in the fast-approaching election to the Manipur legislative assembly, which is due in the early part next year.
The minister claimed that the wind of change is blowing in the Naga society today and the NPF will continue to remind of the arrival of a new day, adding that "the party will continue to grow, signaling the arrival of morning, not only for the Nagas alone, but also for the other communities and the entire world as well."
