NPF Manipur election and the folly
Morung Express | K. Therie | 6 Dec, 2011,
We often see Muhammud Bin Tulugh qualities in the Chief Minister of Nagaland. Historians often describe Muhammud as eccentric ruler for shifting capital from Delhi to Devagiri without preparation and for raising land tax beyond citizen means. Some of which were the major reasons led to the downfall of his empire.
Folly decision of Neiphiu Rio’s of affiliation and shifting of over 4000 innocent students to appear exam in Nagaland Board; damaging the feature of many students, reminds me of Muhammud. The other folly decision is dragging NPF into Manipur and Arunachal state election. The decisions are injurious to Naga brothers and sisters living in the neighboring states and will only lead to unrecoverable deprivation of opportunities in their respective states.
In my personal view; Nagas brothers and sisters in neighbouring state should participate in the national parties; where there is equal recognition, appreciation and shelter. Mr. K. Therie,
Former Finance Minister, Member AICC, Convenor, PAC of NPCC
