NGO push for greener Imphal - Bicycles distributed
The Telegraph | Imphal, Sept. 8:
An Imphal-based NGO today distributed bicycles to beneficiaries from families living below poverty line in an attempt to promote their use not only to conserve fuel but also control air pollution in the state.
Self Employment Voluntary Association (SEVA) selected 150 beneficiaries from four valley districts of Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal and Bishnupur under the bicycle scheme named "Bicycle for carbon-free environment".
