TODAY -
My night with an angel
Robson Thounaojam *
My heart stops when I see you at noon,
And your scent makes me dance your tune;
You creep into my thoughts,
And tie me up with knots;
You came like a smoke,
When I was hardly awoke;
Oh! I think I'm in love,
Or is it just me acting like a dove;
Are you my fairy angel?
Or am I just a captive in your jail.
You showered me with your tender skin,
And little did I know we'd become akin;
Now you have left me drenched to the bone,
So let's make love till morn';
You played and left me too fast,
Now you're just a pigment of my past;
I don't know what to call you,
But people have rightly named you "marry-Juana".
