Modi's Naga test yet to be met
- Not much headway with talks either with Isak-Muivah or Khaplang

Seven months after the Narendra Modi government and the NSCN (Isak-Muivah) signed a framework agreement to resolve the seven-decade Naga problem, the issue hangs on some delicate issues, one of them being autonomy. The NSCN (I-M) wants a status more than that granted under the Sixth Schedule, an NSCN source said today.
NSCN (I-M) chairman Isak Chishi Swu, between his visits to the hospital, and ato kilonser (prime minister) Thuingaleng Muivah are engaged in hectic parleys to reach a final settlement. "There is not much headway on reaching a settlement," highly placed government sources said.
