Meitei Mayek Script Exam at Pune result announced

The beginners' tutorial program on "Meitei Mayek Script (Manipuri Script)" organized by the Association of Manipuri Diaspora (AMAND) Pune which is a nonprofit,
nongovernment community organization formed by the Manipuri professionals working in /retired from the Central Government or Maharashtra Government or other reputed
Institutions based in and around Pune was concluded at Pune University on the 20th July, 2014.
The program was started by 8th June, 2014 to create a common platform for anyone to know and understand about the North Eastern states which is also in line of our ideology
"Let them know us as we know them".
The final examination was also conducted in two categories on July 20, 2014 at the Class-Room Complex, University of Pune, Pune.
The categories are -
(i) Below 18 years and
(ii) above 18 years.
Almost all the participants scored above 80% mark at such highend competition.
Miss. Nancy Huidrom of Class VII St. Joseph High School, Pashan topped in the Category-I (below 18 years) by securing 99 marks out of 100 marks.
Smt. Soubam Ongbi Ranjana Devi topped in the Category-II (above 18 years) securing 97.5 marks out of 100 and
Smt. Huidrom Ongbi Bala Devi stood second by securing 96.5 out of 100 marks.
Shri Pritam Konsam and K. Binodkumar stood third jointly by securing 94 out of 100 marks.
All the toppers are first learners. The toppers will be awarded cash prizes, memento and certificates. All those participants who appeared this examination will also be given a certificate during annual gathering of AMAND scheduled in the month September, 2014.
All the participants of Category I (Below 18 years) who appeared this examination will also be encouraged with special gifts during this function.
This beginners' course as well as higher level courses will be conducted regularly from time to time in the days to come.
