Imphal, August 04 2015: Kangla Facebook Group has appealed to all the people of Manipur to lit torches on the night of August 5, Wednesday to pay respect to Sapam Robinhood, who was killed by state police on July 8 last.
A release by the Group said that Robinhood sacrificed his life for the future generation, to safeguard indigenous people of the state.
It has been 29 days since Robinhood's body has been lying unclaimed in the morgue while the people still remember him, added the statement.
Urging all to support the ongoing campaign for implementation of ILP system in Manipur, the statement appealed to all to pray for Robinhood so that his soul may rest in peace.
