About the Art work:
Meiphu is a traditional Manipuri heater made of sheet metal used in the cold winters of Manipur. It's pure delight for children to huddle around it and roast peas & koukha and listen to their grandmother's folk tales. Staring at the burning charcoal and imagining a world of fantasy was part of the experience of the enjoying the story. I was inspired by the same experiences when I created this painting......

About the Artist:
Me? Hmm... I crave for completion & perfection. I observe, I analyze, then create & improve stuffs. Everything interests me & I see possibility in everything. Logic & aesthetics are the essence of my working principles. My brain is a perpetual processing machine always demanding for processing input. I live on the fine line between sensible compulsion & obsessive disorder. Laziness has inspired me to make everything around me easy & convenient.
