Manipuri duo held with opium worth Rs 5.5 lakh

Two persons from Manipur who were found in alleged illegal possession of narcotic substance suspected to be opium worth Rs 5.5 lakh have been arrested by Panaji police on late Monday night. The duo were identified as Angon Meiti, 20 and Michael Thokchom, 26, both residents of Manipur. They were nabbed at Patto and police found them in possession of 2.6 kg of opium.
