Manipur to start power supply to Myanmar this month
Nagaland Post | Imphal, March 10
Manipur will start supplying power to Myanmar by the last week of this current month March. An agreement in this regard has been inked recently. A report said that Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Electric Power Committee, Tamu of Myanmar on March 5 last regarding the power supply.
The MoU was signed during a meeting at Tamu DC, Myanmar in which Myanmar officials were led by chairman of Hla Maung of Electric Power Committee, Tamu who is also a member of the Parliament and Manipur’s MSPCDL led executive director (technical) L Priyokumar.
