General Prerequisities for Fulbright Applicants
We need to have more of our people going overseas.
So we must encourage and help those less meritorious but with the courage and hunger to pursue these
opportunities and the ability to overcome the cultural challenges. These opportunities cant be wasted by
discouraging less deserving candidates if those deserving are afraid and undecided about availing
them.
With the Fulbright special focus on the NE and specially with the manipur sympathiser Sharon Lowen as
a board member, any slightly favourable candidate from manipur is going to get a preferential consideration.
So this information must be disseminated so those with the credentials and more important the hunger to go
overseas, can take advantage of this special manipuri dance affiliated Fulbright board member.
Important to note is the NON ACADEMIC CRITERIA as the goal is to bring about greater cultural awareness.
