Tapta's at a Concert @ Imphal on 12 Jan 2008 :: Pix - GNET Cyber Cafe,
Manipuri singer Tapta has released his latest song to press for the re-imposition of inner line permit (ILP) in the state. The single (single is a record release with only one or two songs) is sponsored by the Federation of Regional Indigenous Society, an NGO spearheading the drive campaign for re-imposition of ILP, which allows outsiders to enter Manipur only with a permit.
The single music video was released yesterday here by the NGO. The song is penned by president of the NGO, Sapamcha Jadumani. The music video depicts the increasing number of outsiders in the state. One scene shows an outsider casting his vote in the election.
