Daughter of: Mayanglambam Mangangsana and Maibam Rebika

Edu. qualification: Passed X in 1st division and reading class XII at TG Hr. Sec. School
Experiences:
From her very tender age, Mangka acquired the basic knowledge of folk song from her father Mangangsana a well known Manipuri Traditional Pena Singer. Since her early age of about 9 yrs old, she started learning Moirang Sai and Basok (the rare performing art form of Manipur, which are only performed by female) from Guru Smt. Pukhrambam Ongbi Thoinu Devi, popularly known as Langathel Thoinu.
Mangka Mayanglambam had learned the Hindustani Sangeet from late Guru Mairembam Jiten Singh. Now, she is learning Manipuri dance at Govt. Dance College Imphal in Visharad IIIrd year.
She has collaborated with some major performing art institutes of Manipur namely; Manipur Dramatic Union, Kalakshetra Manipur, Kanglei Mime Repertory Theatre etc. and have been performing actively with Laihui, Imphal nationally and internationally.
Achievements:
1. Approved Folk Singer (child) of All India Radio Imphal, 2009.
2. Receiving National Talent Scholarship from CCRT New Delhi in the field of Folk Song since 2009.
3. Received merit scholarship during Class IX and X from Education. Dept. Govt. of Manipur
