Volunteers of MSAD and others today, 31 August 2014, gathered at the University of Delhi and paid condolence to late Mayopam Ramror (09-01-1979), s/o L.R. Hangyui of Teinem Village, Ukhrul and Ramkashing Vashi (01-03-1988 to 30-08-2014), s/o L. Christopher Vashi of Teinem Village, Ukhrul) who were killed in police firing to suppress a public demonstration held in Ukhrul.
MSAD paid condolence to late Mayopam and Ramkashing at Delhi on 31st August, 2014
In addition to candle lighting and two minutes silence in the name of those who were being killed, MSAD raised various slogans such as; Stop State Terrorism, Condemn Undemocratic and Inhuman Governance, Manipur Govt. Stop Killing Innocent Civilians and, Militarization is not the Democratic Solution.
MSAD reiterated its appeal that militarization could not be a solution to any political question. MSAD condemned the Government for its failure to peaceful handling of the tense situation in Ukhrul.
