Lost Tranquility
Parthajit Borah *
The showering rain on the earth percolated the salt brook
over the dilapidated heart for sprinkled hopes.
The shattered dreams stared
for a green morrow.
Fallen tears of the heart encysts
luscious dews for instant copulation.
Blacky wind and pale ray uncovers
the burning furnace of the heart.
Nestling of the nest, chirrpings of
the birds appealed the dusk.
The permanent qualms and trepidation
of the bosom whistled the red sun.
The bouncing waves of the sea
smeared pearly hopes on the shore,
Ferverous heart of the earth
stared for a green morrow
