Last Adieu
Priyangka Thingujam *
Throwing the sadness away,
He marched to his way,
Sadness and sorrows he buried
By waves of kind hearts he was carried.
Hard was the time alone,
Moments of happiness were gone
But, as he marched to his way
The thorns of sadness were away.
Long ago a walk has a hand,
Morning barefoot in sand,
Lots of kind words and songs
And promises for life long.
Who not shed a tear?
In the lost of a dear.
And who be there to console,
For the body without soul.
Who be you to chase time? Once gone, never mine,
But he wished for an adieu last,
And walk on with abide at last.
