Knowledge
Dr Aribam D Sharma *
In love of knowledge
One not contaminated with impurities of definitions;
Far from the impossible;
The only truths which surround you
Though the truths could include you.
In love of knowledge
One which brings me back to my senses;
Though senses which could be numb;
What with the masses turning dumb;
And I should keep mum.
In love of knowledge
One imbued with love ;
in whose light Only ;
Could be seen the knowledge.
In love of knowledge
In whose moments of pangs;
Arose the fountain of revelations;
Though the sighs of awakenings
Are drawn to conclusions;
Without much speculations.
In love of knowledge
In whose search subsumes
My tormented soul;
What with the untold Misery;
Which submerges my conscience.
In love of knowledge
In whose ignorance lay
The roots all shrunken and dazed;
For it takes more than
The self-doubting claims
To see the roots all made.
