With the Karnataka police and their CID wing accused of short shrift in the case related to the mysterious death of Manipur student Richard Loitam in Bangalore, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has stepped in so as to ensure justice to the justice seekers, and directed the Karnataka government to submit an action taken report (ATR) to it w ithin four weeks on the alleged murder of Richard.
When the police in the so-called mainland India don’t do enough to do justice to any justice seeker from the Northeast, the people of the region should move their higher-ups, the NHRC and the Supreme Court in the right way
