Japan funds to improve NE roads
The Telegraph | Guwahati, April 17:
Japan has pledged Rs 67.1 billion to improve road connectivity in the Northeast and to extend the transportation network to the neighbouring countries.
Representatives from India and Japan signed the agreement in New Delhi for the first phase of the North East Road Network Connectivity Improvement project early this month. The project will be completed by 2022.
