Institute of Baking and Cake Art launches Vocational Training Baking Course

The Institute of Baking and Cake Art (IBCA), a specialized baking and confectionery service provider in India today announced the launch of a two-month-long 'Job oriented Bakery Course' for young and interested candidates to enter the growing and creative industry of food.
With the demands of the bakery products growing up hugely, there has been a profusion of bakery chains springing up across India in the last few years. The bakery industry, valued at Rs 69 billion, has achieved third position in generating revenue among the processed food sector in the country. Bread and biscuits hold about 82 per cent of the total share of the bakery industry.
"The Indian baking industry is witnessing a huge change in the recent times as the consumers are inquisitive, experimental and are willing to try new things. For bakery and café chains there are several challenges to meet when it comes to growth of the business and generating revenue-trained personnel being the first. With the vocational baking course we are pursuing on our commitment to train and produce the next breed of new age bakers to enable the industry to its new level of growth," said Mr Manish Gaur, Director-Training, IBCA.
The vocational training baking course focuses on practical and technical classification of baking and product making. Practical program is dealt with aggressive product practice and learning to make a candidate understand why's and how's of knowledge ingredients and its procedure for achieving perfection. At the end of the training session, job assistance will be provided to all participants to work with major industry players across the country. The course fee is Rs 20,000 for the student, informed Mr Gaur.
Being a leading Bakery training school, the 13-years-old IBCA has worked quite intensively in creating entrepreneurship skills in participants. Besides, IBCA is also trying to rope in additional market support and sponsors to be able to provide better job opportunities to the candidates for their commercial establishment needs and its growth. Government of India recognized training program in Skill development Program under Ministry of Labor has authorized Institute of Baking & Cake Art to conduct 2 month Vocational Training in Baking (VTB).
