Indo-Myanmar border sealed after clash

Indo-Myanmar border in Manipur’s border town Moreh was sealed after a clash between Myanmarese traders with their Indian counterparts over selling of Yongchak on Wednesday. All cross border trade have come to a grinding halt from 7.30 p.m. at Moreh and Namphalong.
The clash among Yongchak traders erupted after traders from a particular community living in both sides of the border prevented Myanmarese traders from selling the Yongchak in Moreh. It is alleged that the community has been trying to get control over Yongchak trade in Moreh and Namphalong.
