India, that is Bharat
- Deep from the Soul -
K. Radhakumar *
Sing I will a song of love.
The vision of the blind man!
The blind man saw the days to come
For he lived in an earlier age
Truth triumphs over evil in the end then
Satyamev Jayate.
Not so in the nuclear age or the Kali-yuga.
Is the world still run by a triumvirate
Of eternal values -
Satyam Sivam Sundaram?
I doubt it.
Or do I jump to the wrong conclusion?
Though the blind man saw the days to come
He asked for a running commentary
On everything and everyone
In the field of Kuruksetra, a mini-world
In India, that is Bharat
From the one who saw from far off -
Doordarshan

Without his presence at the spot.

Sing I will a song of love.
Yet another day of my life
Dissolved in ill humour
We slept poles apart
On the big teak bed;
One word and we were suddenly disconnected.
Words have several meanings, love!
My wife and I
Sometimes we do not speak the same language.
O, how I hate those grey days!
The next day
She was a ray of sunshine.
The last I heard
The man who would like to sing
A love song
Kicked the bucket
After spending days in stringing
And in unstringing his musical instrument
And in clearing his throat
But not learning beyond re.
