All the functionaries of AWWs, Supervisors and Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs) of Manipur are working actively under the programme of SABLA scheme in the state. But most of the AWWs are not satisfied due to irregular provisions of Nutritional items to the beneficiaries by the SABLA Scheme.
SABLA scheme will play an important role in the development of Adolescent Girls in the age group of 11-18 years regarding their health status, nutrition, home-base skill, life skill, vocational hygiene etc. with the adequate and timely provisions of Rice, pulses, Iron Folic Acid, Deworming tablets, vocational training, hygiene, menstruation practices etc.
SABLA scheme is 100% based on the growing native Adolescent Girls to promote their overall development. It provides an opportunity for mixed group interaction between school-going and out-of-school adolescent girls and also provides the Vocational Training programme.
