Omila Thounaojam *
Dear home
You're so alone
With adorning looks of a foregone
It's not your fault that you're isolated
From those whom you adore and care for
Timeless love you bore with never fading trust
Will never go a waste and be brushed aside under the carpet.
Many trust unceasingly that you'll be revived
All the colors that make you the unique of all will be described
The world will hear your stories kept secret and locked up so far
Soon the shackles will be broken and your existence will be discovered
Like inventers building innovative doorways to new ways of life
Your children are here now with the wisdom of knowledge to fight through
Bridges will be there from now on to bridge the huge gaps between you and liberty.
Freedom… yes it will be there soon
We'll be free from all the burdens that paralyzed our souls
Bondage will no longer be the reason to halt back further
Trends will set in that sing of joyous songs of our land
Rhythms and beats celebrating the come-back will echo throughout
What is ours will be guarded with the most honest and sincere intends
We won't repeat histories wherein some came and wrote HIS-stories.
Manipulated thrust of biased assumptions about us and our land
Will be countered, rectified and new liberal declarations will soon be made
Be prepared to be part of this turnover moment!
The time is ripe for the newer order to be welcomed amidst us
Let this hallmark event dawn to be recorded as a turning event
The vantage point from where on we will be a prouder community
Striving towards making our MOTHER proud and cry tears of joy.
