Hiroshima Day observed in Manipur
Assam Tribune | Imphal, Aug 6
The 74th Hiroshima Day was observed in Manipur today to remember the world’s first atom bomb attack at Hiroshima in Japan on the 6th day of August in 1945.
The idea of observing the Day here in Northeastern region is to show the world that the people here do not want war. It is also to urge the global community not to use the deadly weapon again in future, according to the organisers.
