Highway siege hits fuel prices
The Telegraph | Ngangbam Indrakanta | Imphal, Jan. 5:
Blackmarketeers are selling petrol openly along roadsides in the heart of the city as most petrol pumps are shut as a result of the ongoing indefinite economic blockade called by the United Naga Council.
People are relying on black-marketeers to fill their vehicles at the rate of Rs 120 to Rs 150 per litre as the few oil pumps open today were reserved for government employees and school van service providers.
