Assam Tribune | Imphal, Oct 11
Incessant rainfall on Monday night along the Manipur-Myanmar border has triggered flash floods in the border town of Moreh. However, there has been no report of any human casualty.
According to reports reaching here, the water level of the Khujairok river along the Manipur-Myanmar increased significantly following the heavy downpour which lasted for nearly two hours on Monday night. As a result, houses along the river side, particularly Moreh-Khunou Leikai, Ward No 7, Heinou Makhong Leikai and Muslim Nagar were badly affected.
