Govt will table ILPS related bill: Gaikhangam

Manipur deputy chief minister, Gaikhangam, on Saturday said that state government was making an all-out effort to introduce an ILPS related bill in the state Assembly before the announcement of the election schedule.
Talking to reporters on the sideline of a function here, the deputy chief minister said the Speaker may summon the assembly anytime as the House was adjourned sine die. He said, “Manipur government is still firm on its stand on tabling the proposed new bill (to protect the indigenous people of the state) in the house anytime if there is consensus among the stakeholders.”
