Fictional
Ritesh K *
I saw 'dusk' so bright in a bookstore,
Left the place wondering to be a work of fiction,
But, summer nights and inglorious sleep made me to wind back and forth,
Only to find rainy days, with sky not so clear.
Second nature filled with doubt made to ponder again,
This time with extreme certainty for the thing that bedazzled my eyes,
Come again during the time, with not even a rainbow so near,
This time 'dawn' glorifies me with a pleasure so lost long ago.
Not too long but left me with bewildered eyes,
Care no more when left in the lurch,
Desperation know not boundaries any more,
As the beat of the heart has been sprinkled with spring flowers,
Here again! But it was night already, with no moon and stars above,
I look around with saddened wilderness searching for the fantasy that was real,
It was too late as the 'non-fictional' left the store, the day her face was shown upon as a 'dawn'.
